Braen Stone Culture
At Braen Stone, our motto is, “Building Relationships, Always Exceeding Needs.” It goes without saying that this mantra extends to our customers, but here at Braen Stone we take it one step further. We also believe in building relationships and exceeding the needs of our employees.
We recognize the importance of families and communities because we are a family owned and operated business (and have been for more than 110 years). Our employees coach sports teams for their kids and many volunteer with other community based organizations, such as their local fire departments, ambulance corps and non-profit groups.

Meet Kevin B.
Weighmaster/Dispatcher
I joined the Braen Stone team starting as a weighmaster at our Ringwood Quarry and I learned valuable information. It was my ability to work in the fast-paced environment and piece together the puzzle that is dispatching that brought me to my current role in central dispatch, dispatching asphalt trucks.

Meet Barbara V.
Community Relations Manager
Working for the company for more than three decades, I have had the opportunity to watch the company grow. I participate in a lot of community work from interacting with the senior citizens to reading books to children at the public libraries and I love working for a company that gives back to the community just as much as I do.

Meet Rob K.
Chief Financial Officer
I joined the Braen Stone team knowing that the company is always looking to grow and improve operations anyway that they can – something that I love having the opportunity to be a part of.

Meet Jessica P.
Marketing Manager
Every day is different for me and that’s what I love most about my job – it is always new and interesting! As marketing manager, I was forced to stay up on current trends and think of new ways to market Braen.

Meet Jen S.
HR Generalist
I joined the Braen team to experience new challenges and take on the opportunity to advance my HR career in a new industry. I find the unexpected exciting which is how most of my days go at Braen! I love working for a local company that has strong family and community ties.

Meet John C.
Sales Representative
I like to say that I started my career off as Fred Flintstone, in the quarry before I moved into a sales position. While working in the quarry, I worked in just about every position from laborer to primary crusher operator to welding to dispatch. My experience working in these other positions made me a perfect fit for sales because I truly understood the entire quarrying operation.

Meet Tom L.
Vice President of Sales
I started working part time before leaving for another job, not too long after starting that other job, I was back at Braen working as a dispatcher. I learned the ropes and worked my way up into sales and eventually became the sales manager. Even after over 30 years here, I enjoy coming to work every day! Mainly because of the great group of people here.

Meet Eddy G.
Mechanic
Having worked for the company for a long time, I pretty much have held every position. After working as the fuel truck operator and working over nights for many years, I approached management and asked if there was another position within the company that I could apply for. This is what led me into the mechanic position.

Meet Woody
Plant Operator
I started working at Braen with no previous knowledge of the industry or the equipment I would be working with but I was willing to learn everything and that was the key to my success at Braen Stone.

Meet Juan G.
Plant Operator
I started as a dump monitor before moving in to work the peanut plant and then was asked to move to the asphalt plant. I eventually became a groundsmen and then started running the plant. I love coming to work every day because of the great environment that I get to work in.
